A house fire in Holland, Michigan, on Monday morning led to four individuals, including two residents and two police officers, being treated for minor smoke inhalation. The fire, starting in the laundry room due to a space heater near combustible materials, was contained quickly after the occupants had safely evacuated. Firefighters also rescued the family pets. Officials reminded residents to check their smoke alarms monthly.
