Teen surfer Erin Brooks joins World Surf League's top tier, debuts at Lexus Pipe Pro in Hawaii.
Canadian teen surfer Erin Brooks, 17, is set to compete as a full-time member of the World Surf League's top-tier Championship Tour after finishing top five in the Challenger Series last year. Her debut will be at the Lexus Pipe Pro on Oahu's North Shore, the site of the Banzai Pipeline. Brooks, who gained Canadian citizenship recently, previously won as a wildcard in the Championship Tour.
