Skoda introduces cheaper Fabia model, narrowing gap with competitors like Toyota and Volkswagen.
Skoda has introduced a more affordable base variant, the Fabia 85TSI Select, for its 2025 Fabia model in Australia, priced $8,000 less than the previous Monte Carlo model. The Fabia range now consists of two models, better aligning it with cheaper hatchbacks like the Toyota Corolla, Volkswagen Polo, and Mazda 3. Both models come with turbocharged engines and a seven-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty, with an optional seven-year service pack available for $3,650. The Fabia also holds a five-star ANCAP safety rating.
