Singapore plans to trial self-driving public buses in Marina Bay and one-north starting mid-2026, running for three years. Six autonomous buses will be purchased initially, with up to 14 more possible if successful. The buses will operate alongside regular ones, with safety operators onboard during the initial phase. LTA will assess the feasibility and operational requirements through this trial.
