Shooting in Chicago leaves one 16-year-old dead and two others injured.
In a shooting on Sunday afternoon in Chicago's Far South Side, a 16-year-old boy was killed, and two other teenagers, aged 17 and 18, were injured.
The incident occurred around 12:10 PM in the 13100 block of South Corliss Avenue.
The 16-year-old, who was fatally shot nine times, died at Christ Hospital.
The 17-year-old suffered eight gunshot wounds and is in critical condition, while the 18-year-old was shot in the arm and is in good condition.
Police are investigating and have spoken to a person of interest.
