Seven American students stranded on a tidal island off Wales were rescued by RNLI volunteers in rough seas.

Seven American students studying at Swansea University were rescued from Worm's Head, a tidal island off the Gower coast, after becoming stranded during stormy conditions. RNLI volunteers made four challenging trips in rough seas to evacuate the students safely. The lifeboat operations manager urged visitors to check tide times and avoid attempting to swim or wade to shore if cut off.
