Osaka, Japan, has implemented a city-wide smoking ban on public streets as part of its preparations for the World Expo 2025, which will see visitors from around 160 countries. Previously, smoking was banned in six zones, but the new rule extends to the entire city, with violators facing a fine of 1,000 yen ($6.40).
