A 63-year-old man was arrested at Bronte Beach, Sydney, on January 26 during Australia Day celebrations for allegedly taking inappropriate photos of sunbathers. He faced six charges, including recording intimate images without consent and behaving offensively in public. The man was denied bail and appeared in Parramatta Local Court on January 27. NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Gavin Wood noted that the majority of attendees celebrated responsibly.
