Indian firm Optiemus partners with TP-Link to manufacture telecom and smart home devices in India.

Indian electronics firm Optiemus Electronics (OEL) has partnered with global networking brand TP-Link to manufacture a range of telecom and smart home devices in India. The partnership, aimed at supporting the 'Make in India' initiative, will produce devices including routers, security cameras, and network expansion equipment at OEL's facility, capable of manufacturing up to 6 million units annually. Products are set to be available in the domestic market by March 2025, with plans to boost exports and reduce import dependencies.
