Eagles guitarist Steuart Smith retires due to Parkinson's; Chris Holt replaces him for remaining tours.

Eagles guitarist Steuart Smith has retired from touring due to his Parkinson's diagnosis, effective January 17, 2025. Smith, part of the band since 2001, expressed regret over his departure but cited performance issues as the reason. Dallas multi-instrumentalist Chris Holt, who has played with Stevie Nicks, Jackson Browne, and others, has been enlisted to replace Smith for the remaining Sphere shows through April.
