A Turkish Airlines flight (TK612) carrying 269 passengers returned to Entebbe International Airport in Uganda due to unspecified safety concerns. The Airbus A333 circled Ugandan airspace for over three hours to reduce fuel weight before landing safely. The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that all passengers were safe and that the measures taken are standard safety procedures in aviation.
