The Kenya Ice Lions, an ice hockey team based in Nairobi, has been accepted into the International Ice Hockey Federation, marking a significant milestone. Founded by Canadian expats nearly 20 years ago, the team now has 36 senior players, including 12 women, and over 50 youth participants. Canadian coach Tim Colby, who has been coaching the team since 2018, is considering retirement after helping the team gain international recognition.
