Hazoor Multi Projects Ltd (HMPL) is developing India's first solar park in Solapur, Maharashtra, in partnership with a UK company. The 1.2 GW Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Saur Urja Park spans 4,200 acres and uses advanced 750-watt solar panels. The project aims to boost India's renewable energy goals and reduce carbon emissions, while also creating jobs and stimulating the local economy. HMPL plans to replicate this success in other states.
