Hagar Township opens a $540,000 public safety expansion, adding a full-time ambulance crew.

Hagar Township has finished a $540,000 expansion of its public safety building, allowing a full-time ambulance crew for the first time in its 180-year history. The project, funded by the Riverside DDA, Hagar Township Fire Board, and federal ARPA funds, also expands the fire department's space. This addition aims to decrease ambulance response times, especially during the busy summer tourist season.
