A Maltese court granted bail to businessman Yorgen Fenech, accused of complicity in the 2017 murder of anti-corruption journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia. Fenech, under arrest since 2019, must stay away from the coast and airport, surrender his passport, and be supervised by a probation officer. His aunt must deposit €120,000 as a guarantee. No trial date has been set.
