THG reports a 5% drop in revenue due to declines in its nutrition and beauty sales, but expects a rebound.

THG, the parent company of fitness brands Myprotein and beauty retailer Cult Beauty, reported a 5% drop in revenue after spinning off its Ingenuity platform. The decline was largely due to a 12.7% drop in its nutrition business, while the beauty sector saw a slight 1.3% decrease in sales. Despite the downturns, CEO Matthew Moulding highlighted the company's resilience and expects improved demand for the rest of the year. THG is also on track for potential future growth and a possible £30 million VAT rebate.
