A Singaporean man is sentenced to nearly seven years for sexually assaulting a woman during a fake healing ritual.
A 71-year-old Singaporean man, Mohamed Salleh Samad, was sentenced to six years and eight months in prison for sexually assaulting a 46-year-old woman during a fake healing ritual. The woman believed she was being treated for a "black magic" attack and underwent the ritual, during which Samad sexually assaulted her, claiming he was removing items causing her pain. The victim later reported the incident to the police.
