Nigerian ex-power minister Mamman faces trial for allegedly siphoning $57M from his ministry.

A bureau de change operator testified that over N22 billion was allegedly siphoned from Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Power during ex-Minister Saleh Mamman's tenure. The funds were routed through the operator's business accounts without any service or project being carried out. Mamman is on trial for money laundering, facing a 12-count charge totaling N33.8 billion. The case continues in Abuja's Federal High Court.
