Fortescue to invest in green hydrogen in Bintulu, Malaysia, supported by government incentives.
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that Australian mining giant Fortescue will invest in green hydrogen energy in Bintulu, Sarawak.
The deal was agreed upon during a meeting between Anwar and Fortescue's chairman, Andrew Forrest.
The Sarawak government has agreed in principle to the investment, and Anwar has promised incentives to support the project, aiming to establish Bintulu as a green hydrogen hub.
