EA revises sales forecast downward due to underperforming games, including "Dragon Age: The Veilguard."

Dragon Age: The Veilguard, released in October 2024 by Electronic Arts (EA) and BioWare, did not meet sales expectations, achieving only 1.5 million players instead of the targeted 3 million. This underperformance, alongside issues with EA Sports FC 25, led EA to revise its fiscal year forecast from a growth of $7.5-$7.8 billion to a decline to $7-$7.15 billion. Despite this, EA CEO Andrew Wilson remains optimistic about the company's future.
