Colorado Springs installs safety signals at four new school zones after a student's death.

Colorado Springs is installing safety signals at four new school zones to improve safety for students, drivers, and bicyclists, following the death of a Doherty High School student hit by a car two years ago. The new zones, active as of Tuesday, are located at Rampart High School, Mitchell High School, Jenkins Middle School, and Carmel Community School. The city aims to add zones to 21 identified schools by 2026.
