Alabama man pleads guilty to laundering money in sextortion scheme linked to teen suicide.

An Alabama man, Dinsimore Guyton Robinson, 29, has pleaded guilty to money laundering in a sextortion scheme linked to the suicide of a 17-year-old Michigan student. Nigerian sextortionists coerced victims into sending nude images and demanded money, which Robinson and others laundered, keeping about 20% and sending the rest as bitcoin to Nigeria. Two Nigerians were already sentenced to 17.5 years in prison. Robinson is set to be sentenced on April 24.
