Suspended Indian official Pooja Singhal reinstated after bail in alleged money laundering case.
Pooja Singhal, an IAS officer suspended in 2022 for an alleged money laundering case related to the MGNREGA rural employment scheme, has been reinstated following her release on bail. The Enforcement Directorate accused her of corruption, and a special court granted her bail in December 2022. After a review, she was officially reinstated on December 7, 2024, and will now work in the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Raj Bhasa.
