Renaldo Archer sentenced to 20 weeks for stealing a chaplain's phone and other offenses.
Renaldo Archer, a 42-year-old man with no fixed address, was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison for stealing a chaplain's phone on a Birmingham bus last July. Archer was identified through a joint effort by Operation Taurus officers and National Express CCTV operators and was also convicted of additional charges, including theft from a vehicle and possession of a Class B drug. Police stress the seriousness of pickpocketing and urge the public to remain vigilant.
