Malaysia's highways brace for 2.6 million daily vehicles during Chinese New Year travel surge.

During the Chinese New Year holiday starting January 29, Malaysia's highways are expected to see 2.6 million vehicles daily due to increased travel. To manage traffic, the Highway Authority will suspend roadworks, activate smart lanes, and implement traffic control measures. A road ban for goods vehicles is also in place during peak travel times. Travelers can use the MyPLUS-TTA app for journey planning and access temporary toilets along the highways.
