Kenya's Cabinet has approved reforms to merge 42 state corporations into 20 entities and dissolve nine others to cut costs and boost efficiency. The reforms are part of efforts to ease fiscal pressures and improve service delivery, as recommended by the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Additionally, 16 corporations will be privatized or dissolved, and six will be restructured to better align their mandates.
