EasyJet reports a halved pre-tax loss and expects a 25% rise in customers by September 2025.
EasyJet reported a significant reduction in its pre-tax loss to £61 million for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, from £126 million a year ago, due to a 7% passenger increase. CEO Kenton Jarvis noted a million more customers booked for summer flights to popular destinations like Palma, Faro, and Alicante, plus new destinations such as Tunisia and Cairo. EasyJet Holidays saw a 40% profit increase, and the company anticipates a 25% growth in customer numbers by the end of September compared to the previous year.
