China and Sri Lanka renew a $1.39 billion currency swap to boost trade and financial ties.

The People's Bank of China has renewed a currency swap agreement with Sri Lanka's Central Bank, worth about 10 billion yuan (1.39 billion USD). Valid for three years with an option to renew, this agreement aims to enhance financial cooperation, increase the use of their currencies, and boost trade and investment between China and Sri Lanka.
