Teck Resources predicts increased copper production in 2025 but expects lower zinc output.

Teck Resources forecasts a rise in copper production for 2025, expecting between 490,000 to 565,000 tonnes, up from 446,000 tonnes in 2024. This growth is due to higher output at its Quebrada Blanca and Highland Valley Copper operations. Zinc in concentrate production for 2025 is projected to decrease to between 525,000 to 575,000 tonnes, down from 615,900 tonnes last year, due to declining grades at the Red Dog mine.
