Parents in weight management programs are open to support for their children’s weight issues, study shows.

A University of Bristol study shows that parents in adult weight management programs are willing to receive support for their children's weight issues if offered. Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, the research indicates 78% of worried parents would accept help, and 98% of those interested preferred being directed to specialized children's services. Parents emphasized a preference for health-focused, individualized support.
