KT&G expands Turkish factory, investing $60M to boost cigarette production for global export.

KT&G Corporation, a South Korean tobacco company, expanded its factory in Türkiye by investing over $60 million, increasing its size to 25,000 square meters. The expansion aims to meet growing export demands to Northern Africa and Latin America, boosting the factory’s capacity to produce 12 billion cigarette sticks annually. KT&G plans to increase its global revenue to 50% by 2027 as part of its strategy to become a global top-tier company.
