Athletes from Raymond Terrace and Port Stephens excel at Athletics NSW Country Championships, with multiple gold medals won.
Athletes from Raymond Terrace and Port Stephens performed exceptionally at the Athletics NSW Country Championships in Maitland, January 17-19, despite challenging weather. Port Stephens ranked 27th out of 85 clubs. Notable wins included Elara Barnes' gold in U-14 200m sprint and 200m hurdles, Mia Mcdonald's gold in U-15 300m hurdles, and Summah Harrison's gold in U-20 100m sprint. The team also won bronze in the 12 years and under 4x100m relay and saw success in field events.
