MTA worker punched on Harlem subway; NYPD searches for suspect, city to deploy more police on subways.

A 66-year-old MTA worker was randomly punched on a Manhattan subway platform in Harlem on January 17th. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. The victim, a woman, was taken to Harlem Hospital and is expected to recover. The NYPD is searching for the suspect, a man in a hooded jacket, and has released his photo. Starting Monday, the city will deploy two police officers on each subway car overnight to boost security.
