Indian companies' foreign direct investments (FDI) grew by 17% in 2024, reaching $37.7 billion. Equity investments surged by 40% to $12.69 billion, while loans to foreign firms rose to $8.7 billion. The largest investment was a $2.4 billion injection by Larsen & Toubro into its Saudi Arabia subsidiary. Indian firms expanded their presence in countries including Singapore, the US, the UK, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, and Malaysia.
