Two missing Ohio children were found safe in Iceland after a months-long international search.

Two missing Ohio children, aged 8 and 9, were found safe in a hotel in Reykjavik, Iceland, after a months-long search. The children were reported missing on October 25 when their mother, who had stopped taking her mental health medication, abandoned her apartment. The mother and children were traced from Denver to England and finally Iceland. The children are now in Iceland's social services care, while their mother is hospitalized. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children provided financial support for their return to the U.S.
