Armed robbers stole over Rs 12 crore worth of gold and Rs 5 lakh in cash from a bank in Mangaluru, Karnataka, threatening staff with guns, swords, and knives. The robbery follows a similar incident in Bidar where robbers killed an ATM attendant and stole Rs 93 lakh. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah held an urgent meeting and ordered increased security checks, forming special teams to apprehend the suspects.
