Irish woman ordered to return presidential items after 28-year pension fraud.
A judge in Ireland ordered Margaret Bergin to return 10 commemorative coins and other items to the President's office. Bergin, 73, was jailed for falsely claiming her deceased father-in-law's pension for 28 years, totaling €270,000. The items, including letters and cheques from the President, were meant for her late father-in-law, John Bergin, who had passed away over 30 years ago. Despite pleading guilty to fraud, Bergin showed no interest in keeping the items, which will now be returned to the President's office.
