Ireland's fuel prices rise again, with petrol now at €1.76 and diesel at €1.73 per litre.

Petrol and diesel prices in Ireland have risen for the third month, with petrol at €1.76 and diesel at €1.73 per litre, up by 2c and 3c respectively. The hikes are due to increased crude oil costs and higher biofuel content mandated by the government. Over half of fuel costs are taxes. Meanwhile, electric vehicle owners see reduced annual costs, now averaging €811.20 for 17,000km.
