Family sues mattress companies over man's death in locked trailer despite providing his location data.
The family of Joshua Armour, a Georgia man who died inside a locked trailer at a Sealy Mattress facility after wandering onto the property during a mental health crisis, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit. The family used Armour's phone location data to inform Sealy of his presence. Despite this, the company locked all trailers and did not attempt to locate or assist Armour. The lawsuit names Sealy Mattress Manufacturing Co., Tempur-Pedic North America, and Tempur Sealy International as defendants, seeking a jury trial.
