China launched the Tianlu-1 satellite to improve weather forecasting and climate studies.

China launched the Tianlu-1 satellite on January 17th, developed by private company GalaxySpace. Designed to explore the middle and upper atmosphere, Tianlu-1 will enhance weather forecasting, space weather research, and climate studies by capturing detailed atmospheric data. The satellite features three payloads for high-resolution vertical profiling of temperature, composition, density, and wind fields.
