UK approves first vertical rocket launch from Shetland Islands by German firm RFA, with up to ten launches yearly.

The UK's Civil Aviation Authority has approved the country's first vertical rocket launch, to be conducted by German company Rocket Factory Augsburg (RFA) from the SaxaVord Spaceport in the Shetland Islands. RFA will be allowed up to ten launches annually, with the first test flight planned for this year. The rockets, 30 meters tall, will be capable of carrying payloads up to 1,300kg into low Earth orbit.
