Two of three escaped Hawaii inmates recaptured; one remains at large, considered armed and dangerous.
Two of three inmates who escaped from a Hawaii correctional center in December have been recaptured. Kawai Pomroy was found at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and charged with escape and theft. Joseph Fernandez was arrested on December 18. The third escapee, Clyde Loa, remains at large and is considered armed and dangerous. Loa is 5'7", weighs 165 lbs, and was using a stolen vehicle. He is serving time for stealing a vehicle, resisting arrest, and possessing confidential information. Authorities urge the public to report any sightings.
