Two Rochdale men face court for assaulting police at Manchester Airport amid passenger altercation.

Two men from Rochdale, Mohammed Fahir Amaaz and Muhammed Amaad, are set to appear in court charged with assaulting police officers at Manchester Airport last July. The incident in Terminal Two followed a confrontation between passengers on a Qatar Airways flight and was captured on video, showing a police officer allegedly kicking and stamping on a man. The footage sparked protests. Prosecutors concluded there is no realistic prospect of convicting any police officers involved. The case is set for Liverpool Crown Court on February 13.
