Teen cancer survivor and Nebraska fan Jack Hoffman, who inspired nation with touchdown, dies at 19.

Jack Hoffman, a 19-year-old Nebraska fan and cancer survivor, passed away after a long battle with brain cancer. First diagnosed at age five, Jack gained national attention in 2013 when he scored a 69-yard touchdown during the Cornhuskers' spring game, an inspiring moment that won an ESPY. His family founded the Team Jack Foundation, raising over $14 million for pediatric brain cancer research. Jack also made the dean's list as a political science major at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. His funeral will be held in Atkinson, Nebraska.
