Takeda, a Japanese pharmaceutical company, has launched its first Innovation Capability Center (ICC) in Bengaluru, India, aiming to hire over 750 professionals by 2025. The center will focus on AI, data analytics, and digital health to enhance patient care and streamline healthcare operations. Takeda also plans to expand in areas like oncology and rare diseases, with a focus on local manufacturing under India's 'Make in India' program. The company's Dengue vaccine, Qdenga, is set for launch in India by 2026 after regulatory approvals.
