Singapore seizes S$169,000 worth of drugs from a Malaysian motorcycle, leading to an arrest.

On January 14, Singapore authorities intercepted a Malaysia-registered motorcycle at Woodlands Checkpoint, seizing over S$169,000 worth of drugs, including cannabis, methamphetamine, and Erimin-5 tablets. The haul, which could support about 970 drug abusers for a week, resulted in the arrest of the 21-year-old Malaysian rider. In Singapore, smuggling over 250g of methamphetamine or 500g of cannabis carries a potential death penalty.
