Proenza Schouler founders exit after 20 years, as the brand looks for a new creative director.

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, founders of Proenza Schouler, are stepping down as creative directors at the end of January, after leading the brand for over two decades. They will remain on the board and as shareholders. The departure follows the appointment of Shira Suveyke Snyder as CEO in October 2024, who will lead the search for a new creative director. Proenza Schouler has faced challenges but regained momentum recently, known for its innovative designs and a "cool kids" image in the fashion industry.
