Delhi court urges law consortium to offer CLAT in multiple languages to aid regional language students.

The Delhi High Court stated that the English language should not hinder students who are taught in regional languages from taking the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). While the court cannot mandate the Consortium of National Law Universities to conduct the test in regional languages, it urged them to create a plan to offer the exam in multiple languages, ensuring language is not a barrier to entry. The case will be reviewed again in March.
