Two Fairfield teens are charged after one built an explosive device that injured his hand.

Two Fairfield teenagers, Nathaniel Lennon, 19, and Daniel Calarco, 18, were arrested and charged after one of their homemade explosive devices exploded prematurely, causing severe hand injuries to Lennon. Law enforcement found that the pair had constructed four explosive devices using online and retail materials. They were charged with breach of peace and reckless endangerment, released on a $10,000 bond, and have court dates scheduled for January.
