Damond Lockett, 51, has been sentenced to nearly nine years in federal prison for dealing heroin and fentanyl, and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
Lockett, already on supervised release for a 2015 drug conviction, was arrested in 2020 when a search of his apartment in Baton Rouge uncovered drugs and a loaded gun.
Upon his release from prison, Lockett will serve four years of supervised release and forfeit his firearms.
